Now that your saved:

If you have trusted Jesus as your Savior, you have been born again to a wonderful new life with Him. Below are some pointers to help you begin your walk in The Way of righteousness.

1.    Begin every day in prayer. Through the day continue talking with the Lord.

(Mat 6:33)  “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

God is always with us so the best time to call upon the Lord is right now.

2.    Read your Bible every day to get to know Jesus Christ better. Find a good study guide. Billy Graham ministries and The Navigators ministries have some excellent materials.

    1.    Always start with prayer asking the Holy Spirit to teach you.
    2.    We recommend reading the book of John a little every day along with the book of proverbs.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.  (Pro 3:5-8)

3.    Be around other Christians in a church where Christ is preached and the Bible is the final authority. Get baptized, it is a public confession, an open statement if you will, of faith in Christ Jesus.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Heb 10:23-25)

4.    Tell others about Jesus Christ. Through the rest of your life you will learn more and more of God’s amazing grace and forgiveness.

Right now you have a testimony of salvation in Christ Jesus. But you will become a witness of the riches of that grace to all those you meet and to all who know you now. Jesus said “Ye are the light of the world; let your light so shine.” Our light is the Gospel and we cannot help but to tell of it. You will too!

And remember, He is faithful:

“The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful-- for he cannot deny himself. (2Ti 2:11-13)”
