The Fifteen minute study:

1Jn 1:3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1.    5 minutes to pray. Praise the Lord; commit your day to Him. Ask him to teach you from His Word exactly what you need to understand. Ask him to help you throughout the day to honor him. Ask for wisdom and pray for anyone who comes to mind.

2.    5 minutes to read or if you have a guided study follow it and think about how it applies to your life and situation. Try to allow time to read at least one proverb if not two or three. This helps you in many situations and the Lord will put you practice to seal the lesson.

3.    5 minutes to write down your study verse or review scripture memory cards. Read it, take it with you and review it throughout the day whenever you have the chance. Say a prayer of thanks to the Lord for His grace and for teaching you lessons directly from the Master.

Over time fifteen minutes will turn into thirty then an hour and sometimes longer. You will develop a rich and deep relationship with the King of kings and have a firm understanding of the Gospel and His Word. Soon you will be bearing fruit to the glory of God!

Remember that we study the Bible to know the Lord and have security in Him no matter the situation we may face. We are children of God, always growing, being nurtured by the Lord and fed on His Word.
